Dave Dehne

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dave’s leadership experience and passion for business technology make him a trailblazer at Synchrono® and in the manufacturing software industry. Dave has spent his career leading world-class teams while building and managing successful software products.

Prior to Synchrono®, Dave held the title of Senior VP, Operations, at Sagebrush Corporation. He has held a series of management and executive roles, including Managing Director, at Tripletree LLP, Director of Sales at Ciber, Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse LLP, and Program Manager of Kroll Ontrack.

Dave holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas.

 

John Maher

Vice President of Product Strategy

John is responsible for providing strategic direction, guiding the product roadmap and overseeing the technology and delivery functions within Synchrono®. A founding member of the company, John has years of experience working in manufacturing, specializing in ERP, MRP, APS, supply chain, MES and manufacturing planning and scheduling systems. John’s experience drives continuous refinement of the Lean and constraints management-based software that powers Synchrono®’s service solutions. John was recognized as a Pro to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

Prior to Synchrono®, John held the Production and Inventory Control Manager position at both Johnstech International – Minneapolis, and Freedom Plastics Incorporated.

John holds a BBA in production/operations management from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. He has an APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and a Jonah certification in Theory of Constraints from the Goldratt Institute.

John Maher

Vice President of Product Strategy

Trey Jordan

Director of Customer Success

Trey manages existing customer relationships by providing support, consulting services, and ongoing training. He aims to strengthen partnership with customers to ensure that Synchrono continues to deliver value while encouraging continuous improvement and growth. Trey has 20 years of experience delivering successful application implementations and he has influenced the software functionalities and features, by working closely with clients to address their needs. Trey specializes in project management, business process analysis, system integration, business intelligence, Theory of Constraints (TOC), ERP, MRP, MES, supply chain planning systems, and manufacturing planning systems.  

Prior to Synchrono, Trey was a technical account manager for Information Builders and an implementation consultant for Thru-Put Technologies (now part of Infor).  Early in his career, he worked assembly line and shop floor jobs as a supervisor/system operator for a textile company.  

Trey holds a BS in mathematics from the University of Florida and an MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.  He earned a Jonah certification in Theory of Constraints from the Goldratt Institute as part of his MBA. 

 

Kirk Studdiford

Director of Client Services

Kirk leads the delivery and implementation of Synchrono solutions, ensuring efficient onboarding, successful deployments, and comprehensive user training.  Working as a delivery consultant, Kirk has managed successful Synchrono implementations for more than eight years for a variety of clients. While accumulating more than fifteen years of experience working in manufacturing, Kirk has honed his expertise in ERP, MRP, supply chain, manufacturing planning and scheduling systems and constraints management. 

Prior to joining Synchrono, Kirk implemented or supported systems at more than 30 different locations while working for Medtronic Inc. and 3M Company as a Supply Chain Analyst, and in Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) systems respectively. 

Kirk earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He holds certifications for CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and for both SAP and i2 technologies.

Sarah Balogh

Product Manager

Sarah specializes in designing user-centered software solutions for manufacturing organizations; streamlining operations, enhancing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. Sarah has over fifteen years of software industry experience, including ten years at Synchrono in product and implementation roles.   

Prior to Synchrono, she was a consultant at IBM Global Business Services focusing on enterprise-level manufacturing technology implementations.   

Sarah earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Segal Design Certificate from Northwestern University, as well as an APICS certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM).   

 

Leo Bartkus

Director of Software Development

Leo has over 25 years of experience in software development, with experience in real-time simulations, numerical computing, and user experience (UX) design. As the Director of Software Development at Synchrono, Leo leads teams to create high-performance software solutions that deliver business value.

At Microsoft, Leo worked on Visual Studio and the Azure Video Encoding Service, which supported video encoding workloads for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to his current role, Leo was an Architect at NextWave Connect, where he played a key role in shaping technology strategies and delivering innovative solutions.

Leo holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. He is known for his ability to blend technical expertise with a user-focused approach, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation.
